Academy
The Dare To Be A Girl Academy is a year long leadership academy that provides leadership exposure to young girls. The academy run from September through May each year and features modules that focus on various elements of successful leadership. The program cultivates a holistic approach to building self-esteem in young girls that will encourage leadership, community engagement, academic success, and occupational exposure. The academy utilizes group discussions, interactive activities, guest speakers, community service, and more to provide an enriching experience that offers girls a safe place for self-expression and development.
The academy currently serves girls in 3rd- 6th grade.
The academy meets bi-weekly on Saturdays and provides girls with a place to participate in group discussions, interactive activities, hear from guest speakers and participate in a community service project. Each academy session gives girls the opportunity to express themselves while building community with like minded girls.
